it got so nasty looking here i rushed out and fed the horse and gathered a few key limes before the bottom fell out. we got at least an inch and a half of rain; the rain gauge doesn't work all that well when the rain is blowing sideways. the power went out twicet and buck and slick are in a post thunderstorm trauma induced coma. i put a pot of peanuts on to boil, hoping the power will stay on for the rest of the day.
