I took a great day off yesterday, made some loaves of zippy bread for the freezer (thanks again Bama) and had landscapers in to do some cleanup in the yard. They also planted 6 flats of pansies. DH and I have good intentions but just not physically able to do all the work anymore so it's nice to find a crew that will.

BTW Bama, do you suppose apples would work as well as zucchini for your bread? Seems like they would have the same texture and moisture content?

Two weeks ago they caught a 300 lb. marlin - got some major points for that but last weekend only amberjack. Maybe Jared needs some.

Weather people are saying our severe heat may let up some by this weekend and slight chance of rain. I'm used to a hot labor day weekend but we've already had 3 months of it and we're all just OVER it.
